House League Notice
A Notice from the Ice Convenor Sept 9, 2007 Hello Coaches, as you prepare for tryouts just wanted to provide a little info. As you have seen from the schedule each Tier 1 will have 5 skates and Tier 2 will have 3.....unfortunately during that period of time I do not have any open ice to offer to add or move your tryout times around....if for some reason you do need additional ice during the tryouts I will have to contact the city to see if any is available and the cost will be $156.34. The first open ice I have available for practices starts Sept 22nd....I have various hours open to offer up between Sept 22 - Sept 30.....if I don't have anything that suits your needs again I'll have to go to the city and see what additional ice I can purchase for the above cost. During this period (Sept 22 - 30 I'll send a list out in the next few days) the ice I have is available for purchase at a reduced rate from that of the city ice....Starting Oct 1 you will begin to receive a regular weekly practice and as schedules haven't started you'll receive a bonus hour from your home game slot....if your team wants anything above those 2 hours you will need to purchase the ice....the bonus hour will be provided up until the season starts. I am doing my best to ensure you have a set practice time each week but that can't be confirmed until game schedules are released....just so everyone knows....there will be FC games played on weekends this year (this includes other association home games not just SSE)...it couldn't be avoided... and a good number of practices will be on weekends as well....if you absolutely cannot practice weekends please let me know and I'll try and avoid that situation for your team....but I'd appreciate the reason that you have is other commitments on the weekend not that you don't like the time Any questions let me know |
